Our Tier 1 customer needed a lightweight as well as robust foldable packaging solution for long distance transport. Quite a challenge, knowing it had to fit 2 types of armrests and provide maximum density.

Actively working with the customer we designed high quality prototypes in short time frame, which resulted in a satisfying concept at the lowest Total Cost. The conTeyor Easyslide solution (with aluminium suspension rail and POM sliders) inside a plastic transport box offered both an ergonomic and flexible solution. The transportation boxes, which can hold multiple part variants, are foldable for low volume return transport.
